yesterday we (me, my mom, and the kids) drove just an hour from where i live to visit the amish:)
they live in the middle of nowhere (which i guess means we kind of do too:).
they run the cutest little shop.
candy, fabric, toys, groceries...
the kids loved the candy wall:)
simple people, simple life, those amish.
i think they are cute.

When we lived in Chicago we would go and visit my in-laws who are on a mission in Kirtland, Ohio. We LOVED going to visit the shops and restaurants. I found out that one of my FAVORITE homemade meals comes from the amish! My all time favorite was the local Walmart had "buggy parking" where they could hitch up there horses and buggy's, so cute!!
love it and that candy place looks awesome!
A little weird but I have always wanted to go there:). sooo i'm kinda jealous.
